Online shopping is great. It’s the way of the future. It can save you a lot of time, as you can shop 24/7 and you can find items online that you may not be able to find in stores at your local mall. However, if you’re looking for an item on sale from a particular store, then you may have to repeatedly return to their website to check its price.
Wouldn’t the whole online shopping experience be better if you could be told when the item you want is on sale?
If you’re like me, you are already registered with several online shopping websites in the hope that the store will email you when they have a sale. But then do you get frustrated when you receive an email saying something like “25% to 50% off All Toys” and in the fine print it says excludes Lego, Barbie etc etc? Those exclusions are so frustrating because if you had signed up with the online shopping site to buy Lego for your son or nephew, then that email is ultimately worthless to you.
Here’s another example of an email I’ve received in the past “Half price off women’s clothing” and in the fine print it says “selected styles” only. This may be even more frustrating than the above toy store email, because it means I have to go to the store’s website, search for the item I want and then manually check the price to see if it’s on sale.

How is PriceSnitch different to other price comparison websites?

Those websites however only compare between certain stores, usually where they have an affiliation and receive a share in the profits.
